So, I'll start. Since there we're so many pictures from our recent trip to Disney World, my hubby set up a link at his website. As of yet I haven't even seen all of these, so I'll make my apologies for any bad shots... especially the ones of me... Cool Wink

Wow Lmar! Those are really cool pics! It's a small world kept going around in my head as I was looking at them! Very Happy

The christmas decorations added a really beautiful touch! As you know, I have a 7 year old son and 6 year old step daughter, so I'm looking forward to taking them there and seeing it for the first time!

I only looked at the Magic Kingdom, so now for the rest of them!

I went to Disney World when it was only about 18 months old. Things have changed a wee bit.
The night shots are wonderful. In the last set, the ones of daughter in the water fountain are neat. Water and all are showing. Neck got tired looking sideways! hahah
thank goodness for digital, think of all that paper and time to wait for developing!
thanks again and I know it is good to be home.

I went to Disney World the year it opened. 1972. It was so much fun, but I know it's changed a LOT since then too. EPCOT wasn't even dreamed of yet.

I'd like to go back someday, but I'm wanting to get the Yellowstone trip out of the way too. Probably 2009 now.

I'm so glad you had a great time, Lmarr!

I'll re-open the 2008 Photos of vacation poll !

This year, with 4 friends we went to Guadeloupe in the Caraiban for 13 days !
We went to see many things, drank rhum, took some sunburn....

I'll share some pictures !

first the south point of the first island (Grande-Terre) called "La pointe des Chateaux"

Now a bay in the north of the same island called "Le Trou d'Enfer"

The picture below was taken in the Archipel of "Les Saintes" near the Guadeloupe :

Then we went to the second island of guadeloupe (Basse-Terre) to see the Waterfalls named "Les chutes du Carbet"

Here is the first one (The highest)

115 m high !

Now a picture of a little island between Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre named "Ilet Caret"

and to finish, one (among many others) picture of a beach located on the south of Basse-Terre, with view on "Les Saintes" :

Well if i posted pics of my vacation it would be of digging up my well behind the house, reframing the base of the water bed the broke in moving it, me breaking the bathroom faucet form trying to fill up the water bed and looking at the stripped threads on the kitchen faucet from the sprayer breaking. Very Happy So I very much enjoyed lmarr's and pompom's pics lol Smile

This is certainly an old thread to bring back alive Smile

As many of you know I went to California (and Nevada and Arizona) in 2008, mainly for the John Williams concert.
After years of procrastrination I've finally been able to finish editing all the video I shot when I was there. I've compiled it all to a DVD that you can all download from here:

http://tracker.whitestone.no:6969/

(If you're new to torrents PM me and I'll send you a recipe Wink)

Unfortunately there's no footage from the John Williams concert (no video cameras allowed there), or any footage of SST members, but lots of everything else.
