Sweeney Todd being a movie soundtrack..I wasn't sure if it was the type that streaming soundtracks would add considering it is a musical.

I saw this movie this weekend, and really liked it. It's also one of my favorite Sondheim shows. That said, I would also come down against adding it to SST. Why? Because I know how important quality is to JERIC, and others here. And while I really did like the movie and the performances in it, I don't think they stand alone on the soundtrack very well. There are better recordings. I feel the same way about Phantom of the Opera. Though that is on the playlist, I think perhaps it shouldn't be.
Anyway, Protonstream, start a thread with a poll and all that good stuff, and let the debate begin in earnest. |

No no no, I wasn't requesting it at all. Seeing the movie and enjoying it, I was personally just curious if this type of soundtrack was something that I'd expect to find here. Looks like this place is mainly for purely orchestrated stuff which I understand. Thanks for clearing it up though! |

I just love the soundtrack for "Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street". It's just amazing. Can't stop listning to it.
