To help mellowman to find the Trailer music of the original Wall-E trailer I found out it was made by Two Steps From H3ll.
Unfortinately their music is not sold commercially and is available for licensing only. Maybe in the future they will bring out an album with their most populair tracks.
I like the music very much. Go this site to hear some of their music and see some trailers
I do not know if it possible legally possible and affordable, but maybe JERIC can contact them to see if they are willing to 'donate' some their music here on SST. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Great find, Sirius but what a shame their music is not available commercially at the moment. I went to the website and listened to a piece of music available to hear there called Dreams and I really liked it. A real mix of orchestral music but some modern rock like movie music too. But they only do music for movie trailers apparently. How cool is that? I wonder whether they are approached to do it or whether they advertise their wares? Anyway, I think if we could get some of it here it would certainly be in keeping with the SST ethic! |

That's an intriguing idea, Sirius. I've no idea if they'd go for it, but it would get their music out to a wider audience without the costs (and potential profits) associated with an album release. Perhaps the folks at X-Ray Dog Music could be approached with a similar request.

Just wondering if some of the SST crew has contacted them yet or maybe do not think it is worth it?

Yeah, I'll bump this along a little bit too - just look at the list of trailers that Two Steps From H3ll have contributed music to: Indiana Jones, Mummy 3, No Country For Old Men, WALL-E, Horton Hears A Who, Chronicles of Narnia 2, The Happening, Hellboy 2, The Hulk, Speed Racer, Jumper, and Valkyrie. Impressive! |
