What upcoming summer scores are you getting excited about?
Lots of good stuff coming out this summer. I'm most looking forward to:
1) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - John Williams
2) Prince Caspian - Harry Gregson-Williams
3) The Happening - James Newton Howard
I'll probably end up getting these as well. Gotta save up lots!
Wall-E - Thomas Newman
Dark Knight - Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard
Mongol - Tuomas Kantelinen
Hellboy 2 - Danny Elfman
Hancock - John Powell
Forbidden Kingdom - David Buckley (hopefully there will be a CD release) |

I'm really excited about Indiana Jones, Batman, and Hellboy st's _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

Ha! My list would be almost exactly the same as yours only I'd add Wall*E as a must have along with Indy, Caspian and Happening.
But also interested in hearing Randy Edelman's Mummy, how Ramin Djawadi's Ironman turns out and, late Summer (I guess Autumn!) the score for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game by Mark Griskey. |

Keeping with my belief that the score is there to remind me of a film, character, scene, whatever, that I liked, I withhold my opinion in this category until I see some movies.
Although, let's face it, I'll probably get Batman. Because I mean, hey, it's Batman. I own the Batman Begins score. I don't like the movie, and most of the score doesn't do it for me, but there are a few tracks I like. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?
