Well, interestingly Roar! is no longer available on UK iTunes - perhaps they got the message with all the reviews giving it one star and giving iTunes what for. I'll see what happens over the next few days and then pop off an email to them like you suggest Jeric. |

I keep banging on about this don't I? My own private little rant thread. Oh well. Roar is still invisible on UK iTunes so I've emailed them today to find out what is going on. I see you can still download it on US iTunes. Does anyone know if it is available on other iTunes? |

Well, continuing my Roar! saga I got a quick reply from iTunes UK. Although rather odd:
Dear Paul, I understand you had seen Michael Giacchino's "Roar!" on the UK iTunes Store briefly, but it seems to have been removed. Since the price you mentioned does sound incorrect for this item, it's likely that it was removed to make some adjustments. However, I cannot comment as to when it will be on the iTunes Store. Apple is constantly expanding the iTunes Store's catalog of music, audiobooks, and videos. I have submitted your request for this item to be added to the iTunes Store. If you would like to request any items in the future, please submit it through the Request page. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you in the future. Warmest regards,
So, what exactly am I being told? It's 'likely' it was removed to make price adjustments? 'I cannot comment as to when' it will be available again? Does this smack a bit of the left hand having no idea what the right hand is doing? Was there any point actually sending me this reply? Also, I wasn't requesting the track at all, I was asking what had happened to it and why it was so expensive in the first place. At least that point was conceded.
The quest continues. |

Huge thanks for the Cloverfield add. At least if I can't get Roar from iTunes I can hear it here! |

What is the situation with Roar! on iTunes UK?
I got curious and checked and it is available on iTunes Finland:
0.99 €, Roar! - EP
My husband mentioned that it is no longer available on iTunes, but it
is available, at least here in Finland. |

I bought it just 5 minutes ago!!
Thanks for reminding me Galfin! I hadn't looked at UK iTunes for a while and I haven't heard anything from them. I was thinking of launching a tirade over the Summer once I'm done with school for the year.
But - it's now only 79p on iTunes! Hooray! Victory! So I do now have this fantastic piece of music. So, credit where credit's due - at least they sorted the price out. As you said, Jeric, must have been an error. Maybe I can use iTunes again even after my credit runs out |

Great, Mellowman!
I also thought that it was probably an error on their part.
I bought it right after posting my reply, too .
It is quite a terrific piece of music! Its style, rhythmic and melodic elements own a lot to the Japanese Gojira/Godzilla soundtracks but it doesn't really matter.
Yes, I think I'll listen to it once again... |
