i wonder about nobody chooses yann tiersen!
for me 1 note is enough - but its very easy because he composes and plays every instrument himself
klaus dollinger i think is also easy to recognize

In my opinion, the most reco-thing compositor is Hans Zimmer.
His musics are always the same .... _________________ In tartiflette we trust !! |

Very true! Tiersen's style is very easily recognizable |

Among the masters of the Golden Age, I would say Bernard Herrmann is the most easily recognizable. He managed to achieve a unique style that was amazingly effective and always managed to surprise us a little, even though we usually recognize his voice. |

Recognizables sounds (via their choice of orchestral formation and/or utilisation) and style:
John Barry
James Horner
Danny Elfman
Yann Tiersen, of course
Basil Poledouris, maybe
Hans Zimmer, though his music (especially the orchestral arrangement) its often near of a James Newton Howard or a Howard Shore... i'm a little bit perplexed about this three composers work sound... _________________ "Until The End... And Beyond The Emptiness" |

Definately Danny Elfman. I can tell his work from just a tiny snatch of music. It's very distinctive. _________________ "But as for me I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote."
