I am coming to like the Gladiator soundtrack a lot... Especially the last 3 tracks ('Elysium' - 'Honor him' and 'Now we are free').
What's cool about them is that they are imho 1 song (there is no track pause in between - it's continuous).
I would however like to suggest to put Elysium and Honor him into 1 mp3, because I think they are not separable (Elysium doesn't end). Since they are really not long, I don't think the merging would be a problem.
I am making this suggestion because most of the time the # requests/hour is 1, and then I can't make the cool sequence myself.
What do you think about this? _________________ "By the time they had diminished from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect 'Hungry.'" -- Gary Larson |

It is possible but not practical. Good idea though. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Actually, it's very easy. At http://audacity.sourceforge.net is a very nice little freeware audio editor, WITH MP3 support. Makes it a snap to load up two or three files and merge them together. _________________ MSN Messenger:

Actually, you don't need any tools... Good old MS-DOS does the trick just fine... Find the short file name for the files you want to concatenate (cool word huh), by using dir and on some versions of windows you'll need some switch on the dir command to reveal short file names...
Then you can do this, and it works, I've tested this...
copy <file1> /b + <file2> /b <destinationfile>
(/b is important, it indicates that we are working with binary files)
Couldn't be easier + it gives you a hint of the glory of the good old days! _________________ "By the time they had diminished from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect 'Hungry.'" -- Gary Larson |
