Germany vs Spain in the final!
Really enjoyable game this evening. Russia gave a good account of themselves in the first half but, wow, Spain were good in the second half! And I have to say that Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas was great again! I have to say, with a bit of vested interest, I'd like Spain to win it! But, if the quality of football is as good in the final as it has been for most of the tournament I'll be happy with any winner! |

great game indeed! Sunday will be fun i am sure....do not know who i want to win, honestly i am just enjoying watching the games and now it will be over soon  so sad. But it has been fun!

 I watched it with my Panamanian friend and we ended up cheering for spain 5 minutes in because we were not happy with the germans...lol....but it was a good game and i think spain certainly deserved the win! ..it is all very quiet out here now, hah. Well it was fun, thanks mellow for getting me interested in it now the olympics in a month........

My pleasure, Jaded! Good final and Spain are worthy victors! Although I am sad I'm guessing a lot of people will be glad to see the back of it!
Frankly, even without my home nation there, I reckon it has been the best international football tournament I've seen.
Anyway..... so..... the olympics.... yay! |
