I clearly remember wanting to be Firestar as a child.... but I also wanted to be an artist, a conductor (the orchestra kind not trains) and a singer. At age 6, I told my parents I wanted to be an architect. So YES I have become what I wanted to be as a child. I also sing on my spare time, I am an artist at times and I sort of conduct an orchestra of engineers and contractors on occasion.... so apart from being Firestar, I've achieved many of my childhood dreams. 
Oh, and Luther, don't give up, you never know when you might encounter a radioactive spider. |

I have not yet grown up, and at this rate I may never make it. Oh well...*plays with her dragons*
Still, I don't think I'm going to be what I wanted to be when I was a kid. I wanted to be a veterinarian, but after seeing what post-secondary is really like, I just can't torture myself with years of grad school...not to mention I don't have $80,000 to afford tuition. I'm not really that heartbroken about it though, I'll find some other road to take

My son has just started to discover the joys of Lego - so the other day we were playing with the bricks and I built an aeroplane, a railway station and a huge spaceship. Cool! Oh, and my son... um... well, actually, he played with his trains. |
