|
Ok, so it looks like we have interest in getting together Friday night for Brazillian (Great Suggestion Lies!). I don't know the place to go (anyone?, anyone?), but we should get a pretty accurate count, so we can warn the restaurant we will be descending upon them.
From the other forum, this is who I remember said "YES" to Brazillian:
1. JERIC
2. BQ
3. Lies
4. Lies' Boyfriend
5. Chandler
6. SiriusCreations
7. Lmarr
8. Lmarr's Husband
9. FrozenHan
10. Natedogg
11. Zirael
12. Zirael's Boyfriend
13. TwoPop
14. Twopop's Hubby
15. Socr8s
16. Xan
17. Boba
18. Boba's girlfriend
I will keep this thread updated. Please respond here ASAP if you want to go with us. Since it is a Friday night, and it may be difficult to arrange a reservation for so many people.

on further thought (it happens sometimes) we should prolly try other places just because i figure socr8s and Twopop and co. would want to check out a new place they haven't been before. But maybe not.
Personally, between the two, i prefered the Bossa Nova. _________________ Instagram

Surprisingly, judging from the reviews, LA doesn't seem to have that many decent Brazilian restaurants, so if you find a restaurant (any cuisine) willing to host a big group close to the hotels, that's fine with me. |

Weird idea Brazilian restaurants. They themselves only eat rice with beans :-)

Caliburn, I wasn't sure if you are being serious... but that's like saying Americans only eat hamburgers and apple pie!
I highly recommend Brazilian food! I'm very jealous as I will not be able to join the gang, but the key is finding a good "churrascaria." All you can eat meat cooked on a spitfire grill. YUMMY! HINT: A good way to tell if it's good churrascaria is to see what they serve on the salad bar. If they serve maccaroni and cheese... not authentic, probably not the best. If they serve seafood (crab legs and the like) and other exotic things, like hearts of palm salad etc... you're in for a treat! The dessert list is a good way to tell too. (Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie = OK, Flan, Passion Fruit Mousse etc..= authentic)
Ooooh and see if they have Feijoada. Most places only serve them on Sunday... but it's really yummy when well made!
Ok... now I'm really hungry! |
