The 64k Ogg streams are back! Also, the listen pages have been updated to offer a choice of HTMLView on the Windows Media Player WMA streams. HTMLView allows you to see the Now Playing, Queue, and Chat inside of Windows Media Player.

This is on 24seven news page.

I have Windows Media Player 9 (9.0.0.334). NOT MY CHOICE (I would say it's an overly restrictive company security policy, except I'm not convinced v9 is more secure in any way).

However, my HTMLView is non-existent, as of a couple of days ago. I can only see the logo in the bottom of the screen.

If you can't fix this for WMP 9, can I at least get the URL for the HTMLView page so I can have a separate browser window on it? (Yes, I know it's almost the same as a the Queued page, but it's not exactly the same, and I prefer the HTMLView page.)

Thanks,

Go to the listen page, and notice you have a choice for HTMLView. It was removed from the default links in order to be compliant with Microsoft's new standard. If you prefer the HTMLView, you will have to update your bookmark to the new link.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Ogg almost made his way through the HTML 5 specs. But I'm digressing, here Wink
