SST Friends:
My family recently purchased an Xbox 360 with Kinect module for my kids to enjoy (3 girls under 8 ). Naturally, they don't play it nearly as much as I have.
I used to be a pretty dedicated gamer in college (as much an an engineering major could manage), but I've been out of the gaming loop since the days of Dark Forces: Jedi Knight and Age of Empires.
I would welcome your suggestions for "must-play" Xbox 360 games to try in what little spare time I can find. So far I have played Assassin's Creed II, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, and Halo: Reach, and I thought all those games were excellent.
Keep in mind I don't have Xbox Live, and though I'm not opposed to Sports games, I find them less satisfying when playing alone. Also games rated 'M' have to wait until the kiddies go to bed.
I appreciate your suggestions!

PC-gamer as well, though I was fan of some X-box games in the past, particularly Halo 2 and Forza Motorsport.
I hear their sequels are also very good. Halo: Reach and Forza Motorsport 3.

I'm PC too. But there is a lot of overlap with XBOX 360.
I would suggest Fable 3. I have it on PC (Had to wait almost a year for it to come to PC, but I love PC gaming too much).
Note for the PC guys, there should be more support for Steam starting with Fable 3 and continuing in the future. Not sure what it will mean for Games for Windows LIVE. |
