tiospok, what I am saying though is I have an iphone and listen to SST on the iphone no problem using the details I explained previously
No need to wait for Live365 application unless that is your preferred method of listening to the stream....
Up to you, but you can listen to the stream on your iphone right now if you just download the Shoutcast application _________________ "My Logic is Undeniable" - I, Robot |

IMO the Tuner2 app for the iPhone does a much better job for listening to SST. Sounds and works better than the Shoutcast app. http://www.indexcom.com/iphone/hfsabasics.html _________________ JohnL |

Yes, Tuner2 shows the album art for SST, however the album cover is sort of small. They really should make it larger.
Tuner2 is doesn't take a lot of steps to listen to SST, just select SST from the list of stations. That is it.
I am listing to it now with my iphone. These are the specs it gives for SST: HE-AAC codec, MPEG-ADTS Bitstream, 59.6 kbps, 44.1 kHz, stereo.
No it does not run in the background like the ipod app. I am guessing you might be able to run it in the background on a jail broken iphone using backgrounder or some similar app. |
