There are no words that can describe my sheer shock when I got up and saw the terrible news of James Horner's untimely passing.
He was an inspiration and role model for many of my colleagues and me, and having had the honour to meet him in person (such a modest and extremely polite man!) and to reorchestrate his "Universal Pictures Anniversary Fanfare" for Hollywood in Vienna 2013 was one of the greatest honours in my life.
My thoughts go out to his family and everyone who loved him.
