Please submit your nomination(s) here. You may nominate as many as you want but not the same entry more than once.

Thank you!

My favorite this year so far is:

The Secret Of Moonacre - Christian Henson

I'll begin with this one :

Coraline from Bruno Coulais

I'm sure some of you won't be surprised Wink

From the Italian school of passion and romanticism comes this melodic stunner by Marco Frisina. There are lush, gorgeous themes for romance, grand themes for the period and subject, and playful ones for polkas and dances.
My pick of the year thus far. The score for a TV movie that most of us will never even get a chance to watch. Sad

I second masked_platypus' nomination of Bruno Coulais' Coraline.

(I just wanted to see the cover here, too Smile .)

I haven't really heard many sountracks this year that I really love but this one is one of them, definitely. I've listened to it a lot lately because it's one of the favorites of my older daughter and she plays it at least every other day Smile . The music is beautiful, very original and it works really well in the film.

Id like to nominate:

Even though on the SST page it says 2008, the score was actually released in 2009, the documentary was released in 2008.

Amazon link lists date as 2009: Amazon

In my opinion this is a gorgeous score and i hope it is able to be nominated.

No-one'll be surprised to know I'm nominating Doctor Who (series 4)

While I like all of the Doctor Who soundtracks, this one has the most diversity, ranging from the revamped themes for Doctor, Unit and Daleks, through the epic grandeur of A Pressing Need to Save the World to totally unique scene-setters such as the 1930s evocation in The Unicorn & The Wasp and the outstanding choral work in Song of Freedom and Songs of Captivity & Freedom.

*agrees with everything Dragonel said*

It's one of the very few STs I bought this year... that little fact should convince everybody that it must be pure awesomeness. Very Happy Wink

I know it hasn't been released just yet, but this already has a nomination in my book:

From what I've heard, I think it's quite good.

I'll nominate the following scores since they were the most memorable for me over the course of the year:

Amelia - Gabriel Yared
Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 - Bear McCreary
Drag me to Hell - Christopher Young
Knowing - Marco Beltrami
Up - Michael Giacchino

The album with the pink flamingos on it isn't bad either. I'll support that. Wink

Inkheart by Javier Navarrete

For my usual reason. I like it. Smile

What! No one has nominated Mao's Last Dancer? Then I shall do it.

This is one of the year's best and I hope enough people give it a listen to see why it's rated highly.
