Now this is something really special for me and I would like to share this with everyone. The two only movies from german god of comedy Loriot are not only childhood favorites but true classics of humoristic german cinema (despite being probably completely unknown outside of germany).
The music is by another german veteran of film, composer rolf wilhelm. Known for his colaboration with director Igmar Bergman, Wilhelm created scores in the veign of wagner (whom loriot admires), something that has become a rarity with german movie scores.
There are also selections from other of Wilhelms scores (see tracklisting above). The music is highly recommended and now you can decide if you want to give it a listen on SST. |

Some of the samples sound pretty good and definitely something new and different. I think think it would be an interesting addition and would be curious to hear more

You could always in the future include additional sample links in the first post Thanks for posting these additional samples, great to hear more of the music and just reinforces my support for the addition of the cd. |
