The "Welcome to StreamingSoundtracks.com" section of the homepage is unnecessary, especially for members. The playlist update is more important info, even for new members. That would entice me more to join rather than a bunch of text.
It's a strange user experience for a member to see that welcome message all the time.

Many of us skip the Homepage completely by bookmarking SST in the Toolbar to go directly to the Queue/Played page. |

...which means we miss important announcements on occasion and end up asking questions in chat that would have been answered by reading the homepage. Some days you can't win.
