|
I thought I'd start a topic to help each other identify cues from movie trailers.
This instrumental is very hard to place because I haven't been able to find a topic nor a video link that would show the trailer that it is played in. This is all that I know.
This song was featured in a Teaser Trailer for the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles back in 1990, and 1991, on the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Video cassette release. And the Teaser trailer that aired on CBS. I could not find any posted videos of this trailer on either Youtube nor Google Video.
This track has been used in many movie trailers, so I'm hopeing that someone will have an idea as to where it comes from.
To the first one who finds the answer, I shall buy them a coke.
*Update* George Hall, who played Old Indy, was narrating during the Trailer _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

Somewhere in the deep dark tunnels of the forums is a thread about movie trailer music, with a link to a site where folks catalog this stuff.
I'll post it here when I have a chance to find it.

Perhaps you're thinking of SoundtrackNet. They have extensive information on trailer music in their database. |

Thanks Two, but I've already checked with that site. If I was able to find another Trailer that uses the same track, I'd be able to narrow the search. _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

Not that I can help you with the music... but "Powdered Toast Man" was quite funny! _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

After a year and ten months, I finally found the song...in all places, The Ren and Stimpy Music Library.
Called "Reach For The Stars" it was composed by Richard Harvey
You can sample it here:

Click on the music note on the other side of track 4 to liston. You will also find other great movie/studio production music....used as backdrop music to TV shows and other around the world.
Hopefully some of you out there have heard this, and will enjoy this piece of action cue. I'm certainly gracious to have finally found it. _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"
