Plot Summary: Arika Yumemiya has traveled far in search of her goal: the prestigious Gualderobe Academy. This is the school where young girls are trained to become Otomes, protectors of royal leaders throughout the lands. Here, Arika makes plenty of friends, but some enemies know something about her past that she does not. Nevertheless, her spirit and determination will keep pushing her forward. --- Adapted from its predecessor, Mai-HiME, this series is not a direct sequel, but an alternate universe setting featuring some of the Mai-HiME cast (though with different personalities).
Another one of my favourites, Mai Otome is from the same makers as Mai Hime
However this series is a lot different since it is in a completely different universe
The music however is just as mystical and has more school day tunes in it, the second soundtrack however has more of the battle tunes and more serious enchanting music since again it covers the 2nd season in which the storyline gets a lot more serious
I really hope this one gets added to the list here, the music is really pretty

Extra note:
Track 25. Tale Played by the Stars, is a song written to fit the singing character
You have 3 versions of this song each sung by one of the main characters, on soundtrack 1 it is Arika, Soundtrack 2 is Nina and the Best Album of HiME and Otome it is Mashiro who sings it (or it was all 3 I forgot)
The tune is the same but the lyrics are different and fit the character
