Couldn't find a thread for this year so I figured I'd set up a new one.

Between Jan 14th and 17th I went on a trip to Germany with the company I work for. We watched the biathlon world cup in Ruhpolding, and I managed to see some nice surroundings as well as Munich.
Here's the link to the photos I took while I were there:

Beautiful photos!
The church's bell tower has interesting architecture - almost an onion dome.

ROFL at the YouTube of Germans surfing. I thought only Norwegians and Swedes were crazy enough to go into the water in the middle of winter! Razz

Great photos indeed!
I've never been to biathlon world cup, but I like to watch it on TV. I used to be a fan of Raphaël Poirée from France (he ended his career in 2007). Now Ole Einar Bjørndalen (from Norway) is a man to admire for me.

Beautiful Pics, Chandler!

And on your remark, Twopop:

This creek is actually called EISBACH - which means Ice Creek ...
..and there is always someone surfing there ...

I've finally gotten all the photos from my recent trip to Florida online. You've all seen the Kennedy Space Center and launch photos, of course, so I'm not putting those in the list.
So here goes, in chronological order:

Departure and Miami surroundings
Seaworld
Universal Studios
Disney World
Disney Hollywood Studios
Epcot Center
Everglades
Key West (and a bit of Largo)
One final adventure

And as a quick preview and recommendation I strongly suggest anyone who visits any of the Seaworld parks to go with the "Mammal Zookeeper for a day" program. Even though it's a bit expensive, it's definitely worth every penny of it!

Here are some pics from my August family trip to Kauai, Hawaii.

At the airport impatiently waiting for our plane to arrive. Listening to the POTC: Dead Man's Chest score to pass the time. I hate long waits at airports!

Finally there! Aloha!

Arrival at the airport. As Ed Harris' character from The Truman Show would say..."There's our hero shot."

Posing with my sister at the hotel balcony. She photographed everything you see here.

View from the balcony. That swimming pool was flipping huge!

A view of the Marriott resort beach. By far the most beautiful backdrop I ever had the pleasure of vacationing with.

The Smith Family luau. That pig that they're roasting would be our dinner in a matter of minutes. I'm normally not a pork fan, but that cooked pig was delicious. It did not die in vain.

I couldn't believe how many of these chickens roamed the island like they owned the place. They were literally everywhere.

More to come.

A few snapshots from our helicopter tour. There were no doors or windows on this vehicle. Our life depended on the safety belts across our waists.

Don't look down!

Do those waterfalls look familiar? Hint: Think John Williams.

Beach shot.

Hidden trail to a hidden beach. Thank you, Kauai guide book!

Another Paramount mountain?

I think that sign just about says it all.

Getting a suntan and looking more like a true Johnny Cage.
