John Williams has written so many wonderful soundtracks, so I think his birthday is the right time to ask which is your favourite one. I personally cannot really settle for something: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T., Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Harry Potter ... this man is just a genius. |

THE Maestro! I've always liked his scores to Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, and Schindler's List. I've not been big on the "space opera" Star Wars except for a few cues. |

My all time favorite score from John Williams has to be Harry Potter! He (obviously) created this beautiful sound to go with these amazing books and movies and I think almost everyone recognizes Hedwig's Theme as the Harry Potter music. He just added another level of depth to this world J.K Rowling created. _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean |

Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
It just doesn't get any better. The sheer amount of music, so many themes, so layered, so full of power and emotion. That's not to say his other scores aren't any good. This just tops the list for me.

John Williams has such a range that although his scores for Star Wars and Jurassic Park come to mind right away, let's not forget A.I., The Reivers, JFK, Jane Eyre, Born on the Fourth of July, and even the great Lost in Space theme from the TV show, not the mention the Olympics Fanfare and the NBC News Mission theme. _________________ A soundtrack fan since 1959.
