Here's the finished product:

I'll post more photos later. Hopefully some of which include the looks on people's faces when they see it. Very Happy

hahahahahahahahaha! So what do you think? Did I do okay? I couldn't find a cheap plain kitty litter pan oddly enough, so I just used the turkey pan.

You're doing it as a joke, right? That looks a bit like soil, fertilizer and worms moving about (some of which were squashed).

Confused

It's supposed to be a kitty litter pan. Razz And yes, it is a joke. Well, it tastes good, but it is meant to be funny. Razz

Here's my ingredients:

German Chocolate cake .................................... $8
Plain White cake .............................................. $8
Tootsie Rolls ................................................... $2
Food color ...................................................... $2
Jello Vanilla Pudding ........................................ $4
Chocolate and White Creme cookies ................... $4
Looks on faces as they see the cake ................... Priceless

I'm with BP. From the photo, it looks a little like worms and dirt, which is another great squirm-inducing desert. Either that, or that kitty litter needs to be emptied STAT!

$28 for that cake?! Shocked

Either it's lots bigger than I think it is or it's a really expensive cake.

...and I thought it was soil and worms, too. Wink Smile

You can't see the depth of the pan from that shot, but I was also guessing at the numbers a little bit too. Razz It is two whole cakes though, so there's a lot there.

And it took Most Creative in the bake-off, so I did something right. Razz

Ah, man! That's the first time I've heard of a kitty litter cake. Had to google it. Seems fun!

Yeah, not sure why mine got so dark. I'm guessing because a) I couldn't find just vanilla creme cookies, but rather the assorted and b) I used the recipe that called for German chocolate cake instead of spice cake, as some do. And the pudding came out just right, if I do say so myself. Parts of the cake clumped together, others did not. It was moist. People seemed to like it, so that makes me happy. Smile At work, about half the cake got eaten, so they liked it too. Razz
