It's that crazy time of year again, and I'm sure some of you have predictions and may want to discuss some of the matches here.

Again, I'm hoping for Spain to make it all the way to the finals, but they would probably face Brazil, which is tough, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much.

I took a look at the groups - France, Argentina, England, Brazil, and Spain will probably eventually make it out of their groups.

Germany and Serbia will duke it out in Group D, Netherlands and Denmark in Group E, Italy and Paraguay in Group F. I haven't been following soccer much lately, so I'm not sure how good all these teams are, but Germany and Netherlands will probably advance from their groups.

Which teams do you think will make it to the semi-finals and finals?

Surprised that England didn't dominate the game with the U.S. - their chances of progressing to the semis is lower than I expected unless their play significantly improves. With the Green fumble, I was happy that the U.S. was able to draw.

South Korea looked really good - I now think they can beat Argentina in their group since S. Korea has better team play.

I'll go out on a limb and say Paraguay has a chance of making it out of their group instead of Italy. We'll see!

.......

Typed to a friend who lives in South Africa. She offered to send me a vuvuzela. I said thanks but no thanks! She said there are folks around there who can play the National Anthem on that thing! It does have more than one note! But takes talent.

Two,

I wanted to share the SST connection with my sister. So I clicked on the SST and copied the address. When I put it in an email to her, Yahoo would not allow me to send it! Said it was evil, had a virus, no go sorry! I tried three times.
I don't know what J2 did, but I could not share it.. Hmmm kind of makes you wonder?

One of Polish websites runs a Miss of World Cup Audience 2010 contest.

Some of you may remember the previous edition of the same game - from 2006 (I remember some SSTers took part in it): http://www.sport.pl/Mundial2006/0,73997,3471214.html

Now we can vote for 2010 World Cup Miss of Supporters. Here is the link: http://www.zczuba.pl/zczuba/0,91360.html

Candidates are voted head-to-head - similar to matches of football teams.

You can hover over small pics of ladies to make them bigger. And "glosuj" means "vote" (click it if you want to vote for that specific girl from the given pairing). Current round of voting ends on 1st of July.

BTW: Ads with sound can sometimes appear after clicking the link (sorry).

great concert BPEWien.
Try to get to Jo'burg for the closing concert with it.
They'd make you worldfamous Smile

Btw I wonder when the Dutch team will start playing some real football. Until now it has been not much to look out for.
When they play like this in the quarter finals I hope the Brasilians deminish the orange team.
(And it's better for the Miss World Cup Supporters too)
