Hi, SSTers.
I don't know if it's against the rules of RIAA, but I was thinking about the possibility of we can make two requests by artist. I realized there is a great competition for requests from some artists and the size of the queue on SST (different of AFM, that I too listen often) and as well the duration of the musics comparated to AFM maybe would allow the inclusion of an artist twice.
For atenuate the change, one possibility is to allow the two requests only after the conclusion of the sequence of previous two requests. So, If someone requested the music A from one artist and I requested the music B from the same artist, both musics stay in queue, but other listener can request the music C (and perhaps D) only when B it's running.
What do you think about? |

Currently this cannot be done.
1. To be DMCA compliant, the same artist cannot be played within an hour.
2. I realize that the queue can be 2.5 hours long, and the same artist could legally be in the queue more often, but the system we use, SAM, does not allow this rule.
3. The rule allows greater variety in the queue.
