- First fun fact is that I can't resist surveys like this. It's like I'm magnetically drawn to them.
- Born and raised in Washington, DC. Literally my first home was a stone's throw from the Capitol Building, and I still currently reside six blocks from the very building.
- The only time I spent living outside of DC was spent attending Penn State and living abroad in the UK for six months.
- Favorite superhero: Grendel
- Favorite film: The Land Before Time
- I own over 300 movies on DVD and Blu Ray, so needless to say I have many other favorites besides my fave dino movie.
- I have one older brother.
- Favorite computer game: The Secret of Monkey Island, (and it's sequel)
- I love the Muppets. Probably more than the average person should.
- My BlackBerry was a gift from Edward Norton.
- I sort of hate my BlackBerry because I don't like people assuming I now have no excuse to be 'unreachable.'
- I spent two summers working retail at the Smithsonian Museum of American History. I was asked, "Where are the ruby slippers" in over 30 languages.
- I am a lucid dreamer, but a boring one.
- I love traveling.
- I am not a fan of political debates despite living in a very political city.
- I love talking about movies. So much.
- When I'm on vacation, my favorite activity is midnight walks. (Not something I can really do in DC at night).
- My favorite composer: I have a special place in my heart for James Horner. But I also am a huge Giacchino fan.
- I will listen to any kind of music, except things that contain bagpipes. The sound makes my head hurt.
- I majored in English, with a focus on British literature.
- One of the best things I ever did was signing up for the one tour company that gets you to Stonehenge around sunset and lets you actually walk among the stones. I will remember that experience for as long as I live.
- My aspiration as a child was to be an astronaut princess.
- When I learned how much work being an astronaut was, I decided to go for train conductor.
- Now I write and do contract programming work.
- My favorite president is Abraham Lincoln.
- My best celebrity encounter was with Sir Michael Caine. He was hurrying down the red carpet, unable to sign autographs, but I said, "I loved you in the Muppet Christmas Carol," and he stopped to shake my hand. (Again with the Muppets).
- When I was five, I decided my favorite number was 39.
- As a kid I was really scared of panthers.
- I like singing; I'm not sure people like hearing me sing.
- Welsh ancestry.
- I love Disney movies, and the theme parks.
- I love film soundtracks and seeing if I can guess the film just by listening.
- I broke my arm on my very first day of school in pre-k on my fourth birthday.
- My favorite Muppet is a tie between Statler and Waldorf, (because really how can you pick between the two?)
- ...and I actually am wearing shoes most of the time.
