Haha, so... I think I'm going to wear jeans and a nice top/sweater. Best of both! |

Hi guys,
I'm in a dilemma at the moment... I got confirmation from the HR department at the University of Malta (I applied for a junior research position there) that they and a few professors in security and privacy law want to have an online conference call and interview with me this Monday afternoon. Seeing that I just have time tonight and Sunday, I'm in need of at least 4 to 5 extra hours to review and refresh my knowledge on certain dossiers.
In short: I will still join you for dinner on Saturday evening at 17h00 and the Award Ceremony too (d'uh), but in view of my staunch ambition to go for an academic career, I want to increase my own chances of success and skip the morning meeting at Marriott and the guided tour.
Though, I'll see you at Yanko's for sure! Apologies and I hope you'll understand, it's a career project with a 3 year project grant.
Best,

Tonks and me arrived in Ghent! \O/
Yeah Nessy, that's the place. You can also use "Korenlei 10 - 9000 Gent" address.
My guess is you will find the hotel at the corner of Drabstraat and Korenlei. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

The press converence was great ! Thaanks a lot for organizing that we could participate, Dutch !
Mr. Goldenthal seemed to have stayed up too long the night before (which was kinda funny ) and Mr Korzeniowski was very interesting to listen too. And of course Hans Zimmer, who doesn't want to meet him ?
The concert was amazing as well, especially the Inception suite played live. Unbelievable !
I also really enjoyed seeing some new faces from people i know from chatting |

It was a very nice day / weekend. I enjoyed it very much. Nice reactions of the stand we could set up at the press conference.
The Awards event and the following concert was awesome. Nice to hear the greet suites by Goldenthal and Shore and seeing Hans Zimmer performing live Driving Miss Daisy and Inception suite with his small group of musicians together with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Dirk Brossé

That was AAAWWWWSSSSSOOOOOMMMEEE!!!
Wife and I really enjoyed the week-end. The press conference, the concert, Zimmer performing live, everything's was perfect. Also really nice town, we spent the whole Sunday visiting and shopping!
So cool to finally meet you all, now I can put faces on the chat nicknames
I've done loads of photos, where can I put some?
Encore BRAVO to Dutchbat who really ruled the weekend
Now I can't wait Krakow next year...
Nath
ps: oh yes, one thing to complain: there wasn't enough cheese at the lunch tasting, that's unacceptable!!! _________________ Mighty Pirate Captain and happy dad of a little cube cheese |

If you have a place where I can download them (or via Dropbox) I can add them to the gallery.
