Hi All,

I wanted to let you know about two upcoming concerts in the Baltimore area:

MUSIC OF JOHN WILLIAMS:
The music of John Williams has transported us to new worlds beyond our imaginations. Be there as the BSO performs all your John Williams classics: Superman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, E.T. and of course, Star Wars. Fireworks follow the Oregon Ridge performance!

July 21 at 8:00 pm
The Music Center at Strathmore

July 22 at 7:30 pm
Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall

July 23 at 8:00 pm (Kids 12 and under pay half-price!)
Oregon Ridge Park

Tickets can be purchased here.

MUSIC OF FINAL FANTASY:
Join the BSO for an exhilarating experience that combines the music of famous Japanese video game composer Nobuo Uematsu with graphics from the wildly popular Final Fantasy series. This concert will feature music from Final Fantasy I through IX including “Liberi Fatali,” “Aerith’s Theme,” “Opening Bombing Mission” and “Chocobo Medley.”

July 30 at 7:30 pm
Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall

Tickets can be purchased here. Note that: $150 Seats include premium seating and a post-concert meet and greet with Arnie Roth and Nobuo Uematsu.

I went to both of these concerts in the past and they are a lot of fun! I highly recommend them.

Personal news for people who know me from long long time ago:
I recently got married and started cello again. Yay me! Very Happy (thought I'd mention it)

We had this much much cheaper in Kraków Wink
In fact meet & greet was for free.

Congratulations!!! Cool

Edit:
BTW: My personal opinion is if you have a chance to meet Arnie Roth - definitely do it! He is awesome! And it's pleasure to listen to him talking about music. In Kraków he was very kind to talk to fans long after his meet & greet officially was finished.

Here is link to nice picture of Arnie Roth with SST member - Tonks:

Congratulations, shroddie! Smile

I saw a JW concert here once. It was really fun because all the other concert-goers liked his music too and were there specially for it. Very enjoyable!
