Ok here is a new one .....
This dark, dashing and extremely distinguished actor was born in Vienna and trained by Max Reinhard. He was an accomplished theatre actor both in Austria and Germany, but after leaving Germany due to the Nazi-Regime he became very sucessful im Great Britain, France and the US, although he changed his name there. He continued to play films in Great Britain, France, US and germany after the War.
He died in Germany in 1967 of an heart attack.
I hope it is not too difficult ... but our european members should know him .... _________________ It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

what is this "s" doing here? lol
For making this animated movie, the studios decided that the movie will be a remake of an old live action movie.
The directors had the possibility to chose between two old movies: the first one is a musical from 1964, the second is kinda historical and the leading actress obtained the Oscar for her role.
What are the two old movies between which the directors had to chose ?
What is the title of the animated movie ? |

That's an excellent question, anya. Thanks for this challenge!! I have no idea at all. This is going to take me some time to find the answer - if I'll find it at all.
But maybe someone else is wiser and faster anyway... |

The directors had the choice between "My Fair Lady" (musical from 1964) and "Anastasia" (1956, Ingrid Bergman received an Oscar) Bluth and Goldman decided to make the animated film "Anastasia" (1997).
Right? |
