Date and place are determined for the EaSST Coast Gathering, a major meet & greet event for and by SST-members. This year the place to be is New York, NY for the weekend of April,13-15. The more members (or composers) will join this meeting the bigger the program can be. Registration can be done via events(AT)streamingsoundtracks(DOT)com.
Closing date for registering: March, 15, 2012

I really want to be there....& whoa, NYC, & meeting 24.7 stations' community members twice in 2012 -- a dream come true! Am looking forward to more info re this super event.

I've never gotten to do an SST Meet and Greet, and I'm hoping this can be my first one!
Are there hotels booked in advance so we are all in the same area, or do we just make our own arrangements? I'm looking at airfare right now to see if I can afford it

A rough program for the EaSST Coast Gathering.
Possibilities are subject to the number of people attending and will be made final after the closing of the registration. (lots of preps and costs involved so this registration is absolutely a necessity)
FRIDAY 13TH (not the movie, the date )
joined concertvisit at Carnegie Hall for the early arrivals. Concert of Oscarwinning scores and a JW-tribute. grouptickets are still being discussed and (again) is dependent on number of tickets to be ordered.
SATURDAY 14TH
Dayprogram to be filled in.
Gathering and dinner with special guest. location and costs to be notified after March,15.
SUNDAY 15TH
morning- or afternoonprogram:
Closed meeting and concert for SST-members (only with enough participants)
afternoon get-together with dinner afterwards for those who stay sunday.
We (Siriuscreations and yours truly) will communicate our hotel of stay so for people who choose to stay in the same hotel can book this as well.
All bookings will have to be made personal.
Nearby hotels can be found on several bookingsites. (I use booking.com)

I know the Friday stuff is out for me, since I'll be teaching. So I'm curious to find out what the plans for Saturday and Sunday are. And of course, I'll have to stash BabyI somewhere.
