So happy you're able to come Pete! Thanks for the suggestions! I will ask my uncle as well, since he has lived in NYC for nearly 30 years.
I am basically open to anything, although the nighttime boat ride sounds lovely. I know not a lot of people want to go to the 911 memorial but I feel like I *need* to see that while I am there. Since I will be there until Monday though I can do that on my own before I fly back home.
Getting SO very excited!

Yeah looking forward to meet you again Pete. I have no idea what the status of the concert tickets are and if you are coming on friday as well. Please send Dutchbat a PM when you are coming and if you want to go to the concert on friday ask him if that is still possible. Like LadyI said I lost track as well. I hope Dutchbat has the full list.

Well Last time I was there (1999) I went up the WTC. I want to see the memorial.

Marquiss. I am always there.

Right now, I am pretty solid
on the 11th-17th but have
commitments so I need to
find time slots for get-togethers.
LadyI - If you are here, with
me, I would love to see you
and your husband downstairs
or upstairs or at my room.
I am going to see about having
some frozen berries, so I can
serve you some new mixes.
I have not tried the sushi,
downstairs but am game.
As I know the schedule more,
I will post and I can't wait to
see you, all.

Okay, we've booked ourselves at the Marquis for Saturday night. Not sure when we'll arrive. Further updates as events warrant.
Should we start planning silly things, like how to identify each other? Y'know, except for Pete, who is pretty recognizable. But I'm not actually blue.
Also, the husband and I were thinking of taking in a show. But we want to make sure such plans wouldn't interfere with the dinner. Any idea on when that would happen?

We can take account on the schedule if people want to go to a show. I think an early dinner is best for all evening activity.
As Pete already had some good tips on restaurants I propose to pick one of those and see if we can book it at, say, 1730h

Tickets for Centre Balcony

Turns out I could not get my usual
accommodations at the Marquiss and
so I have opted for a suite at the
Wellington, with many of you.
I am trying to get them to have
Hendricks in the room for me (us).
It should be decent. The location is
good, of course, as you know. I
will take a look around there for
places, too.
I will be at the Wellington from
the 11th thru the 15th.
Looking forward to seeing all of
you, there! 
PS: LadyI - We can still have
some time at the Marquiss, which
is also tons of fun. We'll touch
base as the time nears.

Aaaah Pete, still so exited you're going to be coming! As we get closer and closer I get more and more excited. No matter what or where we end up going I'lkl just be super excited to meet all of you!
