The concert is by the New Yorks Pops orchestra on Friday,13th in Carnegie Hall.
It's a concert with Oscarwinning scores.

Siri, I'm staying at the New Yorker. I need to be
near to the train station (one short block away).
I want to take a later train to arrive after check
in which is at 3 pm. Will cab to meet you
all wherever you determine it to be - at your hotel
or at Carnegie. I'll touch base with you all when I arrive

Ave I just Google mapped that, and it looks like you will still be less than 2 miles away from us/Carnegie, so not bad at all! I will PM you my phone number the closer we get to the date

No LadyInque, so far the catch-22 has got the ECG caught.
I'm still awaiting one agent to answer an e-mail but so far no luck or no composer interested in comin to NYC (on own expenses).
Also the miniconcert with the Dante-trio needed more registrations to have a go-ahead on the sundaymorning.
So what remains for the weekend is a meeting with the group as registered including dinner on Saturdaynight. Saturday and sunday can be filled in with NYC-things to do/see.
Let's open up suggestions for that in this posting.

I am open to do anything. I know seeing a show costs more and I don't know if there is a show everyone can agree on, but there is lots of stuff to do in NYC we can do as a group
I am sad though that this meeting got so few registrations. Times are hard for a lot of people though, or maybe they're saving up for a bigger trip, like JW. Either way, we'll make it fun

Maybe you should read my emails again... I discarded the idea of a trio already in January. I thought I was the only one coming, and you were in contact with a pianist... (sorry people if I'm talking about this here) |

Xalira, I always kept hope and the chance for both possibilities open but it was since the beginning of the idea depending on the number of registrations due to the high costs involved.
But the idea is still vivid with me for whenever the possibility occurs again.
If ECG had the same amount of registrations as the FMF in Krakow already has before even a program has been announced, I would not have doubted to give the idea a green light.
And certainly I read your e-mails, but as the situation didn't change there was no good news I could tell you.

Ah ok Let's keep the idea for another meeting, then (it's just that things like these need to be arranged and rehearsed, plus my bf is leaving Italy so it would have become a bit problematic). |
