For those who want to go to the rehearsal on fridaymorning, we will depart around 9 am from our hotel (BLVD Hotel, 2010 N. Highland Ave, Hollywood)
If you are going but you are go straight to the bowl. We try to have a seat somewhere on the lower right corner of the stage, (see picture on previous page)

Due to the cancellation of the trip by our two fellowmembers from Krakow, Poland there will be
two extra tickets available for the Fans of Film Music
event on Saturday, Sep.1
People interested and with a good reason to claim such ticket ($21) please let me know asap.
I will choose the lucky ones myself.

Ok well we're off in 12 hours! If we decide to do a dinner on Friday or something just update on here and I'll make sure to check when we get to the hotel tomorrow.

I would LOVE to meet people for dinner on Friday, as it seems like a lot of us will be there. I will have to keep checking here too so we can possibly meet up somewhere.

I'm really looking forward to this! Flying in Friday evening from Indy, arriving at LAX at 9pm, staying at the Best Western. Cant't wait for the picnic and concert, I may see about picking up some pizza for the picnic. Sunday I will do a lot of sightseeing and not be attending the meet & greet or other concert, but would love to join any dinner groups. Flying out very early Monday morning. |

Hi all, I don't know if this will help at such a late stage, but I only just got the info now. If you're looking for transportation from the airport to your hotels, I suggest SuperShuttle: http://www.supershuttle.com/Home.aspx

They will schedule a pick up to take you to the hotel, and even to take you back to the airport when it's time to go home. I booked a round trip ride and it was $46. Not bad, considering a taxi one way would probably cost more. I called the hotel I'm staying at to see what was best and they said taking the trains and buses are an option, but they can take much longer and be very tiresome, especially if you're bringing a lot of luggage.
Eeek I have to finish packing now, I'm so excited!!

And it begins! Imagine my utter joy at walking into our hotel lobby after making a store run and seeing Sirius, evan_evans and Caliburn. I just can't stop smiling!
Oh and viola super shuttles worked good do us this morning too. We didn't even have a reservation just walked up. Took a little bit but was comfortable.
