This list is just for an overview. Ticketing is not related to this list and goes thru Socr8s. Hotelbookings of course depends of the number in your party and the total number is not in this overview. |
I updated the presencelist and put it on this page, otherwise it will get lost on page 4.
I think many more members will try to join if I have names clear of the composer(s) we can have a meet&greet with.
Several of the ones I contacted are interested in this.

I'm doing a count now and how many people paid me, how many definites that I'm holding tickets for and how many tickets left.

So far 17 people have paid me or will be in the next week or so, I need 8 tickets for myself. That brings us to 25 tickets and 5 left. Shelob, Evan and special guest is 3 more so that leaves 2 left (maybe 1 if Supercarol answers her PMs). Cutting it close for any latecomers.

7 tickets paid or will be, I need 2-4. So we have 9-11 left. Plenty of time for people to change their mind. |

You´re doing a great job Socr8s, I lost track already on how many cards there would be needed. But I´m afraid the two tickets left for JW will not be sufficient in the end.
At the rate of people registering and the experience that there will be more people interested after announcement which composers will be present I expect to have around 10 more members subscribing for this event.

As there is enough interest from composers to have a meet & greet during this weekend, I will start the search for a good location and time to have a meeting. As there is a 'Fans of Film Music Meeting" somewhere in LA that time too I'm trying to find more info about that and plan our meeting to not collide with that in time.
Possibly it could be saturday afternoon, way before we go for a picknick, or on sunday late in the morning.

I do not know if anyone already made a reservation at the Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn or no discount can be offered by BW.
An alternative is opposite the Best Western the Boulvard Hotel & Suites (formerly Comfort Inn, where Mol and I stayed last year)
Two Queens room is $139. This is a special Hollywood Bowl rate. The concert ticket must be presented. So socr8s can maybe go to that hotel and present our tickets)

Evan_Evans, if you can state your flightdetails, maybe there's someone there who can pick you up.
I used to fly on Burbank normally and it's indeed much more convenient.
But as I'm only hopping in and out I think I have the direct KLM-flight AMS-LAX especially if I'm bringing the stand along.
(I don't want it to get lost during 1 or even 2 stops)
