Bought my train tickets for Berlin ! Now I'm waiting for the concerts dates to know when I've got to come to Krakow ! (10 more hours of train ! O_O)
All those voyages are gonna be exhausting.
Also, can someone tell me where the festival takes place in Krakow ?
As there are several Youth Hostel, I wanna book the closest

I assume the concert will take place a bit outside the city center in an factory hall. We try to book a whole hotel near the city center. From there we can arrange transport to the concery location. This is what we did last year.
The concert dates are May 24, 25 and 26.
I think Dutchbat can tell you more details soon when we have arranged the hotel.

Good news anya!
Concerts in Krakow used to be away from city centre in industrial area, inside one of Polish biggest steel mills of (so called) "communism times", but other festival activities (for example meet&greets with composers, our group dinners) are in the centre of Krakow.
BTW: Here is a point on the map where the gate of steel mill is located (our venue is well inside that industrial area on the right)

And the route from the gate of steel mill to city centre (Rynek Glówny, Kraków, Poland) takes around 14 km (look to the left and a little bit down on the map to find city centre).

anya, i don't think that a hostel in the nowa huta district would be a good idea. it's considered rather 'family UNfriendly' area |

Oww, that's sad to hear. Previously the festival would have taken more days but since the budgetcut they reduced it to those 3 days.
Official program will be released end of this week.
Hope to see you again some other event.

The FMF has agreed for SST to have the promotional stand AT THE VENUE.
Of course only if we can fling in some festivalpromotion on the website too. (banner/adv.)
That means leaflets are to be made!!
And volunteers to help me with that.
The venue will see 4000 potential new members to register.
I'll have to mail Jeric now....
