Just wanted to let you all know or maybe just remind (especially members from Poland) that film music concert will take place soon in Warsaw (Poland).
Medley of the most famous film music tunes (Star Wars, Jaws, Jurasic Park, Superman, Gladiator and Forrest Gump) will be played by The Orchestra of Polish National Radio. There will be fragments of the movies on big screen as well.

Information in Polish:
Wielki Koncert Muzyki Filmowej z projekcją fragmentów filmów.
12 czerwca 2011 roku w Sali Kongresowej w Warszawie wykonany zostanie premierowy Koncert Muzyki Filmowej.

Miejsce: Sala Kongresowa PKiN

Sounds good. Thanks for the info mol. I hope it will be a mini Gathering. The organizers approuch us during the Film Music Festival in Kraków and I made molossus their contact person for the festival. So If you want extra info just contact him. He can contact the organizers for you. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Similar concert again will be held in Warsaw this year:
This is info from their website:
"Film music in concert
Discovering the masterpieces of film music.
The concert of film music performed live by symphony orchestra.
Music from motion pictures "Star Wars", "Titanic", "Forrest Gump", "Gladiator".
The best of the soundtrack composed by John Williams and Hans Zimmer, Ala Silvestri, Jams Horner.
Great fun and unforgettable experiences guaranteed!
Don't miss it!
Ticket info: 22/ 397 83 01 bilety@KoncertFilmowy.pl
(...)
Date: 14.10.2011 at 16:00 and 19:00
Venue: Sala Kongresowa, Warsaw
Performer: Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus
Conductor: Maciej Sztor".
BTW: There is a typo in english info I quoted above of course, because the concert will be this year 2012 and not in 2011.
In Polish section of the site they also mention "Inception", "Pearl Harbor", "Braveheart", "Jaws", "Jurassic Park", "Indiana Jones" and "Mission: Impossible" music to be played. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
