I'm not for vocals on a soundtrack, hardly makes a chance do be added for that reason _________________ "True friendship is sitting together in silence and feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had."

I have to vote no on this one as well, since SST doesn't generally include "pop" soundtracks, more scores. Maybe a song or two on an otherwise instrumental soundtrack (like Disney) but not an entire album of it. The larger exception is usually musicals, where vocals are sort of inextricably married to the score – and some people here even disapprove of those. (Not me.)
** Devin, your covers aren't displaying properly because you have to link to an image, not a full HTML page as above. The address should end in .jpg .gif .png .bmp or similar. (Angel has already fixed & re-posted for this one so I won't duplicate.) |

I love this movie and the music within the movie; but yeah, it should be a "no" vote, I think. Because these kind of tracks do not fit at all with most of the music and tend to disturb the overall groove of listening. The movie is great, the music fine for the movie; but they do not fit to the context of the rest of the music on this site - in my view. |

As said above, I really liked the movie and who has not seen it yet and I would recommend to watch it, I laughed a lot and it is even so recognizable what happens in there and the music fits very well in the movie. (And for those who have seen the movie: I have some items like Initech t-shirt, mouse pad and of course the one and only original red swingline stapler)
In short I voted 'No' _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

It's not the same but wanted to mention that Office Space score is now available for SST listeners.
