On Facebook I saw that Film Music Prague will held a Meet and Greet with composers: This year composer Gabriel Yared (The English Patient) and Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust) will come to Prague
I asked when it will be held and if it will be in English, Czech or both
Here their reaction:
Film Music Prague (official) We would like to do a panel discussion. It depends how many people will be interested.
Panel will be translated to Czech and English. It will be probably on Saturday afternoon.
So if you are interessted depending on when you are arrive in Prague, please let me know or post a comment on their FaceBook page

I tried to look for tickets of the Disney On on the site they say
Zone 1 - 650 CZK (around 24 Euro)
Zone 2 - 450 CZK (around 17 Euro)
but the link goes to the ticket sale for Concert For Help on sunday with different prices.
The Concert For Help I see some still available for
Zone 3 CZK 699.00 (around 26 Euro) but most of them with better seating for Zone 1 CZK 1299.00 (around 48 euro)
So also give your prefered zone as well. For me the Zone 1 tickets would be ok.
EDIT: Now the right link to Disney is availble both zones are both available atm
EDIT 2: I saw that from October 15th the prices will be increased, so let me know this week.
Eleanor will make the reservations so if she has all the info from me, she can make the reservestions before October 15th. |

Depending if Girlfriend can get a free day from school on monday, she will be coming with me.
For me it's definite now.
Zone 1 tickets for both concerts will do.
Gf will have an answer before friday.

For Disney concert anything between rows 1 and 6 (Přízemí) looks very OK for me.
When it comes to Concert For Help, I think rows 8-10 (Přízemí) as close to the center as possible seem interesting at the moment. One thing I don't get here at first sight is why rows 1-5 (Přízemí) are cheaper than rows 6-18...
BTW: Do you know those venues, Eleanor? Maybe you know which sections of the audience give a good view?

Well, I think these preferred seats look good, Molossus
The auditorium of Rudolfinum where Concert for Help takes place is very beautiful historic building and its ground floor - "přízemí" is rather inclined, check out this: http://www.ceskafilharmonie.cz/dvorakova-sin-p39.html
I've never been in the Congress Centre where Disney concert takes place, but this is a good demonstration of how it looks like inside the hall: http://www.kcp.cz/download/panorama/flash_velky/4.swf
Molossus, as for your question about cheaper front rows - I think it's usual for this kind of concert with big orchestra because further from the stage is better sound and the whole orchestra can be seen better. However, also the Disney concert should be presented by this same orchestra, and prices of these tickets are opposite. So, nor I understand.. |

Thanks for the links Eleanor and for information!
Dvořákova síň looks fabulous in pictures and I bet impression is even better when you are there in person. I'm happy I will have a chance to listen to film music at that beautiful venue!
BTW: It's hard to judge it precisely from pictures but I guess rows 1-5 can give you not as good view of the whole stage as rows 6-18.
