(October 22, 2012) – BuySoundtrax Records is proud to announce the release of Film Noir’s Finest: Themes From the Dark Side of the Lens available digitally on November 6, 2012. This stylistic collection includes music from such atmospheric film noir and neo-noir film and TV shows including Body Heat, Chinatown, Dirty Harry and TV’s Remington Steele.
The 20-track compilation includes tracks written by Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry, Pino Donaggio, Howard Shore, Lalo Schifrin, Dennis McCarthy, and Henry Mancini, newly recorded, produced and arranged by Dennis McCarthy, Dominik Hauser, Mark Northam, Joohyun Park, Dan Redfeld, and John Beal. Featured soloists include Mark Northam, Elizabeth Hedman, Roy Wiegand, Tim Messina, Joohyun Park, and Dennis McCarthy.
