Hallo everyone !
I hadn't seen any sort of announcement in the Meetings section regarding the upcoming concert of 'Maestro' Ennio Morricone. So hence:
Meeting a monument from the motion picture soundtrack hall of fame
Ennio Morricone, one of the 20st Century's most famous film composers will conduct on Saturday 22 December 2012 at the Sportpaleis in ANTWERP (BELGIUM). The man who scored well over 400 soundtracks for films in the span of half a century and worked alongside the greatest movie directors of all times, will provide a musical anthology from his oeuvre on Saturday 22th December.
This will be a unique occasion for soundtrack and film music afficcionados to enjoy this monument, 84 years of age, on a live stage with orchestra.
Accompanied by the symphonic orchestra 'Il Novecento' and a special 100 persons strong choir, he will sweep the audience with masterpieces that sprang from his own musical genius.

In case there are still SST members and other afficionados who would like to reserve seats alltogether in ONE ticket order ? I myself will quite likely order those by September 16... so just drop me a message here and we will make a headcount, and we'll orchestrate the arrangements to be seated closely to one another.

I've really really had a rough week writing probably close to 140 e-mails for work & a project funded by the European Commission which really keeps me awake, suffering sleep depravation. So no wonder I forget which language I should use in my time off ...)

There is already a plan to make a meeting out of this. SiriusCreations will gather all the orders for a ticket.
If you decide to order tickets on your own, you might not be sitting with the SST-group.
Plan will be to have an afternoon meeting in Antwerp with drinks and food and the concert in the evening.

I think there is a misunderstanding, Dutch.
I probably will not go to that concert, I will probably flying to Hawaii on that day. So I will not gather all the orders.
BTW SoundtrackScience we want to have the all public areas (chat, forums) to be English. Since I am on vacation at the moment I do not have time to translate it. So please edit your forum post and translate it in English, tnx

OK So Siri sneaks out and is not going to take orders, neither do I
The people who want to can still meet each other in Antwerp previous to the concert.
You may use this thread to arrange all this.
Me and Gf will be going and if anyone wants to order tickets for the group, we're in.

So guys, I actually forestalled my purchase but... WHO is actually organizing ANYTHING on jointly purchased tickets ?? 
Seems like interest in quite limited, so if I don't hear back from anyone by Friday afternoon I will order mine (just to keep those quality seats in check).
If we are at 2,3 or 8 to go alltogether to Sportpaleis, I don't mind arranging the purchase, as long as I get all payments within a short time after I confirm purchase (I will detail my banking coordinates in PM to those who need a ticket).

Due to the cancellation of our 1st Pacific Gathering, I have also cancelled my Around The World In 30 Days trip.
My plans was to start on Dec 22nd, so I would miss this concert. Now that I am not making the Around The World Trip I will go to the Morricone Concert. So see you in Antwerp
