Folks,
Several of us have expressed an interest in seeing the chat run down the side of the site again....namely myself, sarbear, son, and Clem.
Anyone else have similar feelings? Oh, and please don't think we are complaining here...Jeric +mods: This site is awesome. Love the work you guys are doing. Keep up the great work!

Cal, I agree. Although my workplace is rather laid back, I like to keep the appearance of being busy and having the chat bar on my history is probably not conducive to that appearance.
Thanks JERIC! The site looks good so far. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music. - George Elliot |

You pretend to work. They pretend to pay you, eh? _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk? |

Ouch! Score one for Sensei.
In defense of my appearance of work and pay, it is not so much that I am avoiding work to chat than I don't have any work or the work I am doing is mundane. In fact, I think I would have gone mad by now if there wasn't such a thing as the internet and www. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. Is it possible to have it as a single window as well like the old one ? I find it easier to hide on my screen. _________________ My reality cheque bounced |

So what are the "bugs" in the new chat? Don't you like that only members that are logged in can use it? _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Perhaps "Past Shouts" can be reworded as "New Window". |

First of all the regulars dont like new things. So removing the old chat is a good solution :-)
Problem is that when the screen refreshes (every 30 seconds) De message window looses the focus, which makes entering a message quite annoying.
Personally I don't like the word 'shout' Could you change that to 'chat'? But I love the system in general, trolls can now be dealt with. |

Apart from the refresh problem, it is great. Better than the old one. _________________ My reality cheque bounced |
