My, but that's a busy, cluttered cover. I don't see it as a serious contender in that category for the SST awards.
This sounds like another gimme. Is this score any good? I always worry when composers work together. I like both these guys individually, but together... I dunno. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

I saw the film, but I don't remember much about the music - I guess that's not a good sign. The only adjectives that come to mind are 'dull', 'repetitive' and what I would call '08/15' in German... |

Wie, bitte? Sorry, my German's circling the drain, so I don't know what that means. But I'm fascinated. Could you explain it? |

Sorry for the confusion, but I'll try to explain: when something is '08/15' it is just average or even of bad quality, it may also refer to something boring and repetitive. It may describe almost anything - a film, food, a person's looks etc. - and basically sais that it's nothing special.
The idiom (if you can call it that) is supposed to have originated in WWI, when '08/15' was the standard machine gun in the German army (--> boring, repetitive drills and/or bad quality because of cheap war time mass production).
I hope this helped |
