Looks like hwh is coming for a small part. (like last year) Probably on Thursday or Friday like last year. But at the moment he is not in a position to confirm. |

Hello everyone,
sadly my girlfriend and me cannot come to Krakow as we are invited to a wedding. I wish you lots of fun and probably I will see some of you in Prague as timing is perfect for that one again because there is the Prague blues exchange.

Karnets/tickets are paid!
We have 231 seats booked at all concerts altogether!
I'll let you know when I have all those karnets/tickets on my desk.
BTW: Polish guest composers for FMF 2017 have just been annonced. They are: Abel Korzeniowski, Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, Maciej Zieliński i Atanas Valkov (the last one is of Bulgarian descent.
Only Valkov is a newcomer. The rest is pretty well known to FMF audiences.
I'm looking forward to meeting Abel Korzeniowski again. Last time he was in Kraków I enjoyed meeting with him very much.

Hey guys!
I had a look at accomodation possibilities and the choice is already getting quite tight.
How many rooms/beds we need?
My estimate (correct me if I'm wrong):
Eleanor
yoana?
Albi
Cal + hwh?
Danleich
DTF+Plus1
Sirius+molossus
Scorefreak?
To give you just a price range examples:
-Ibis Kraków Centrum we had 2 years ago (3 star hotel - no breakfast) from May 17th thru 22nd = 1510 PLN (around 350 euro) for a twin room.
- cheap place at the cloister area: http://domszymona.pl/rezerwacja (less than 250 Euro for the whole stay but only 10 beds in not the best configuration - 2+4+4)
- Angel House 2 (closer to the Old Town and Main Market Square) 250-280 PLN per night per single/double room (125-140 PLN per person) or 330 PLN per night per triple room - 110 PLN per person (http://angelkrakow.com/) Total price for a stay for one person would be 550-700 PLN if rooms are shared or 1250-1400 PLN in single room. But I have to ask if they can set up rooms as twin rooms and not double rooms

I am still suprised how expensive Krakow is compared with the rest of Poland.
Closer to the main market sounds like a better choice to me personally. The swapping to twin/double makes it easer for hwh to join us when he wants too. |
