Hi all Smile

today is Mr. Desplats birthday and i am rather sad that we'll not be able to request much of his Music today.
So i was kinda wondering, if it would be possible/easy to implement/okay with the community if the composer block in the queue could be lifted for a composers birthday?
Y'know... effectively making it possible for any birthday composers to be in the queue multiple times. I am aware, that there is always the posibillity of requesting collaboration soundtracks, but with some composers (desplat included) this is not much of an option, because all of their music is only registered under one composer name (...not sure if that is because Desplat only works alone, or because of how we added his scores to the database)

If there is a fear of the queue becoming too monotone with all the same music, maybe there could be a limit? something like: normal composer = 1 track per queue, birthday composer = 3 tracks per queue?

let me know what you guys think about this?

Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away... Errr...
I mean, many years ago it was possible to build composer trains in the Q on a composer's birthday.

But we realized it was against RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) regulations. And that was the reason the current rules of the Q were implemented.

As far as I remeber we need to follow RIAA rules (among them those restricting number of pieces from the same album/composer in the queue) to pay lower royalties.

I'm sure it has been discussed in the forums, but I can't find a thread now..
