Ok, it's been more than a year since my last post here and about 6 months since I actually did some development. Here's a status update for y'all:
After submitting the app to the App Store I got a response that I was using Disney Corporation's copyrighted material (Pirates and Brother Bear happened to be streamed at the time they were reviewing the app) and needed to prove that I actually am legally allowed to display and stream those materials. I sent an e-mail to JERIC asking him for help, but have not received a reply. I even asked Caliburn and ScoreFreak to help me reaching JERIC, however neither of us had any luck.
FMF has reignited my desire to resume trying to release it. I will do my best to reach JERIC in some way and provide Apple with all the documentation they need. If we're lucky, they should approve it after that.
@dbell and @Bryophyte: Please provide me with an e-mail you can receive on your phone/tablet. I'll add you as testers and release a test version soon (after Apple-complaint-related changes are implemented) |

I didn't know an iOS version was already in the making but this one seems the have been dead now for the same reason I am still facing with Apple today. And for me its also very difficult to reach @JERIC.
I think all that's required for Apple to approve it, is a written permission of JERIC as the owner of the website and streaming service, to stream the content. And that he claims that how owns the rights to the cover images (I assume they are self-scanned?).
The Apple rejection reasons:
I have tried the contact formular, direct email and forum PM (I only later found out he does not wish to contacted by PM).
If you would like to be invited to the Beta I'd need your Apple ID.
That's what could be released on iOS.

I would really need @JERIC help here. Apple being stupid, and not adressing a single one of my remarks to their review and just stating like a robot:

Happy you like the app so far.
Its really only doing the very basic things I always missed in "TuneIn":
1. Connection stability & recover
2. Cover Art
3. Title and Artist properly displayed
I have some more ideas for the app in no particular order:
1. Share currently playing title with your favourite social media target
2. Buy the currently playing title via SST amazon affaliate link
3. Show play history
4. Sleep timer
5. Allow to save the cover art
6. Show current request queue (with cover art)
7. Request support
