Sorry, unless I translate it all into pirate myself. There isn't a pirate option on the website. But may I suggest Jive. I think that could be more your flavor, dig dis.

A Hacker translation could be helpful for the wannabe stream rippers. _________________ A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day. - Calvin and Hobbes - |

Here is a suggestion for the FAQs. Newbies are often (read - always) asking questions in the chat that are mpore often than not already answered in the forums. Could we add a small snippet that says in effect to check the forums often for news, updates, answers to thier piddling questions, and pointless concerns BEFORE they ask on the chat? A case in point is the stream outage due to hurricane Isabela. too many newbies asking why the stream is down before they read the posts or even the main page.
I realize that they will most likely NOT read the FAQs untill told to do so and even then will still not read the forums BUT it does justify us being mean to them at that point. _________________ A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day. - Calvin and Hobbes - |

Hmmm... would be a fairly simple expansion the question I already have, "Where can I look before asking you guys questions in the chat, so I don't look like a mouth-breather?" |

LOL I had forgotten that question. It does pretty well fit the bill as is. _________________ A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day. - Calvin and Hobbes - |

the photo practically made me wet my pants I laughed so hard. Nice job with photoshop on that one. I like the additions. Kudos Mr. C. _________________ A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day. - Calvin and Hobbes - |

is there a rewrite planned?
Q: So what makes someone an old timer?
A: If you remember when the chat was on the left hand side of the site then you're a genuine old timer. If you've been on here long enough that I've started to throw your name out randomly in my forum posts then you're well on your way.
ok last night the chat window was on the left and a DHTML menu was on top, today it's gone...wierd |

Later on I'll be significantly expanding the "What makes an old-timer" section. |
