Hello everyone,

Last night Gert brought up the idea of short one off adventures for SST members, family and friends.

Format.
4 to 6 players game time 2 to 3 hours. we work and we have lives.

checking into using Roll20 for the platform. it is free and browser based. IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc.

If you are interested please comment and we can start putting it together.

Yay! I didn't catch the part about one-offs, but I'm good with those too. Have you thought about the potential system and setting?

one offs would work best because that way it is not a huge campaign style thing. people can drop in and out. Play a game and not be pressured to come back week after week. I might be able to string some of the one offs together into a larger story, that is easy to do as well.

get the word out.

as far as system, it can be as easy as using skype and a set of dice Smile

but looking at roll 20.

Sounds like fun.

One-offs is a good idea, at least to start with.

No protest from me, istagi. I understood why you brought up the short length idea, and was just saying I hadn't thought about it before.

As for system, I meant D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, etc. I've liked what I've seen of Fate/Fate Core, which is more rp driven, but unless r20 has a module for it (free or not), I don't know. That one seems to be really good for one-offs.

Roll20/skype/dice: it's all good, we'll make it work.

As for setting, I just meant did you have an idea to set it in like outer space, the Wild West, high fantasy, steampunk, whatever? Unless you want suggestions on that? Cross-genre could be cool.

Looking at high fantasy with maybe some steampunk elements in at least one game I am thinking of.

I cannot guarantee that Dragonel, I can guarantee that any dragons that are killed by PC's will be evil dragons and not good ones.

So far we have

Gert
Jim
Dragonel
David Toft - not sure of his SST name - dallasTreado?

I would like 2 more. I might be able to find some outside of SST.

Might be able to run a Europe group every other Friday.

I'm interested! It's been a long time, but I loved the little taste I got back in university, and my schedule for the most part is wide open, at least at the moment (which I'm only saying so that the universe doesn't get any bright ideas about changing that).

I'll try and knock all the rust off that particular shelf in my brain and look into Roll20, but I can Skype/dice at the absolute least Smile

Ok it looks like I have enough people interested in running at least one group.

timing.

Looks like
Tuesday or Thursday starting at 7:30 EST,
Play should last 2 - 3 hours

will start with a few one-off training dungeon runs then start working an overall storyline.

Please use D&D5e for character generation. form fillable character sheet is here.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1Lqt-lJ1sdcVndMTVBBQU1GcU0

Players Handbook, this will help with player creation. PDF link, use for now until you can purchase a copy.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GndFEGrdopzxMH5Xpe7gnko7ML7R917_

Please use standard score set when creating your character.
15,14,13,12,10,8

If you need help with character generation, email me at istagi@gmail. I will get on the phone and assist or our first session will be character building Smile

I also use 5th edition character sheet for android and IOS for character creation and leveling, It works great. Look for it on iTunes and Play.

Hi - yes, that is Dallas Treado (D Toft). For the folks living in Europe - you meant 7.30 pm (19.30) EST? I am in Central Europe, so the time really will not work for me on the weekdays .... Sad
