A good day to you all!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed (just in the nick of time!) that John Williams will visit Vienna November 3 and 4. Even more amazingly I was able to secure three seats in the 7th (!) row of the "Goldener Saal des Musikvereins" where the traditional "Neujahrskonzert" takes place every year and usually is telecast around the world.

In 1996 we already had the good fortune to experience the London Symphony conducted by Mr. Williams but this is quite a surprise, I'd say.

So my question is the following:

Will anybody from around here be in attendance?
We'd love to meet you and celebrate!

For us it's only a two-hour drive... Wink

...alas since this (a film composer allowed to conduct the Vienna Philharmonic!?) has never happened before, at least to my knowledge, it would well warrant a longer journey, wouldn't it?

See you there (3rd),
Martin of Martinland

SST member BirHar is going there, and some of us (like me) are in London a week before!

Have fun Smile

Thanks, Caliburn - and how will I recognise BirHar? Do you read me, BirHar? Wink

Bye,
