The first soundtrack I ever got was "Star Wars" on LP. It was a birthday gift from my parents. The first score I ever got for myself was, is and shall always be the all time love of my life "The Black Hole".
I still have that LP to this day. John Barry is the man.

My first soundtrack was "Last of the Mohicans". And I must admit that I only own one more soundtrack - Cirque du Soleil's "Journey of Man" - except for RHPS and Grease.
I used to have an "Othello" soundtrack, but I sold it. I wanted to get the soundtrack to the version with Laurence Fishburne and Kenneth Branagh, but instead I ended up with a pretty weak score from an older movie. |

My first soundtrack was "Empire Strikes Back." Then I bought Star Trek 2, which led me to collect Horner and Williams stuff like mad, including Glory and E.T., respectively. I've slowed down on the Horner since then! |

mmm...
I belive that the Soundtrack of Record Of Lodoss War OVA was the one that started the adiction. I got a cheap copy of the 2nd Vol. in a small second hand CD store. |

For me, it was the Highlander saga. The CD has I, II, and III but not "Highlander: Endgame". Some of the music was written by Queen and I believe (not to sure) that at least one track was done by Loreena McKennit. (If the spelling is wrong, sorry.) But that was my first. |

I had to go check which one was my first again, and ended up listening to other albums for hours. I found alot I didn't listen to for a loooong time.
But, my first soundtrack was: Backdraft.
Backdraft was one of the first movies I ever saw, where the music did more to me than the actual story told. Well, maybe that was because I'm a firefighter IRL and had so much to complain about the way they handled things as firefighters

Star Wars IV: A New Hope on cassett tape
TESB and RotJ soon followed, also both on cassett tape. Then CDs were more accessible for me and off I went.
