[It's been pointed out to me that I should answer the question posed in this thread.]

Just about any track from "Forbidden Zone"...that is one messed up soundtrack.

Well, I've only heard three so far. Just not my taste I guess. The one I recall the most was last night - all synthesizers.

Okay tell me when you are around and I will pop the main theme for you in queue Smile

I am almost always here during the day (US time). And I am here now, until about 3 CST

All those silent mode type of music(with out any sort of dynamic) part of a video game with out any meaning if you are not a game player.

Thank you Cal!!! I liked the track you played. But still feel the same about the others I have heard.

Troy is pretty bad! Jared's score far exceeds Horner's...BTW what happened to Horner's originality, he keeps reusing old scores!

You should read up on that Jojoinsano. He only had a couple weeks to make the score. Also keep in mind that the composers have to please the directors first and us score fans last. What happens when the directors want a soundtrack that sounds like Braveheart and Titanic? But I agree, the soundtrack was a huge disappointment and I have been contemplating removing it from the library. I would like to see Gabriels work released on CD. I hear he worked hard on it so it deserves to be.

I should rephrase...although it is poor, cudos to Horner for saving Troy producers with his quickly assembled score...don't get me wrong I am a Horner fan, it's just disappointing that he has to rework old scores to keep the execs happy.

I never liked "Pi" and I'm not fond of those Japanese jingle jangle soundtracks you keep hearing at 3 am (American Time).
I usually request songs on sundaymorning local time. That's when most people across the atlantic sleep.

dr Jackyll here.

I wouldn't call troy terrible, just listless of umimpressive. (okay, many people are right, most of the score is self-plagiarism)
No, the worst score ever has to be:

"The Rock" by Hans Zimmer and his army of musical clones.

I don't know why I bought it in the first place. Pubescent angst and insecurity seeking easy accesible themes with no musical merrit?

Now every time I hear it when it's used as a jingle for one of those lewd dating and relationship shows I want to vommit up me own entrails! Wink
