I played air guitar once but that resulted in injury so now I just sing very badly.

Haha! Sounds like you left at the top of your game. Maybe you can be our roadie?

I just remembered that I had intended to try out a video idea I had when I had a week off. My week off ended one week ago. Razz Hm, maybe I'll try it on a Sunday.

Yeah! Let us know how it goes!

In other news, I've finally submitted my files. I'm not a professional, as you'll find out. Laughing

Now back to being scarce from SST for another couple months...

My idea was showing everyone's sheet music playing out as the theme was going on, but I realised that that would take a very long time to coordinate and also not fit on the screen for the parts where we have a lot of instruments at the same time.
Not all parts do play at the same time, though. I think that it could be nice to have a picture showing of the currently active parts? Would anyone not be up to post a picture of themselves with their instrument to use? Smile

Neat ideas! And that's true about there being a lot going on at once. Maybe just the scrolling score would work, but you'd have to see if Elmer's okay with it. I've also seen it where people let the mixer display scroll past, so you'd have to ask SIN how he feels about releasing that.

I'm not super hot on putting my image up on the internet more than it needs to be. So maybe just a stock image of a euphonium or my avatar?

Definitely not up to a picture of me IRL .... there's a reason I am a dragon on SST. Wink
You could use my dragon avatar instead.

Sounds good. I was so bold to create a new folder in our shared folder. Please upload an image that you would like to be used in the video, and rename it to something to identify you with. Smile
I'll probably get a picture taken at my grandmother's piano next time I'm in the area, even though I recorded from my own. Razz

The project has been 95% finished for months now. We're just waiting on a couple of stragglers to submit their parts Razz

I know I've asked before in chat but .... would you please consider posting the 95% version for those of us who have contributed already? I know it won't sound "finished" but I'd like to hear it while I still remember the excitement I had back when I recorded

Hopefully that would also generate a reason for the 5% to push to get it finished, but I know sometimes that just never happens due to "real life"

Sure thing, will post it after work tonight on the Google Drive. I owe you guys that much. Stay tuned and please keep it between us behind-the-scenes people. Wink

Cool!
I haven't seen any pictures yet. Maybe I could try to use just our profile pictures? They are all so small, though. Razz I think it would be cool to have some sort of visualisation of the different players for the video. Smile
I might try to create a proof of concept when I have the provisional audio.

Whoops, I'm so sorry I forgot to post the work in progress file last night.

It is up now for people with access to our Google Drive, and was placed in the "Audio Files" folder. Let me know if you have trouble finding or playing it.

❤️❤️❤️ Wow, that sounds amazing. ❤️❤️❤️

Thx SIN for a great mixing job & congrats to all the other participants.

@607 - I would think profile pics would work fine in the second half when there are so many of us contributing, but I'll see if I can find a higher res version of mine over the weekend
